Getting to Delhi by air

A number of airlines have flights to New Delhi. Please see the website of the India Ghandi International Airport which is the primary international airport of the National Capital Region of Delhi, India, situated in Palam.

Getting to the meeting venue from the airport

The meeting venue, the India Habitat Centre, is easily accessible by public transportation from the airport and the city centre's railway station. Delhi has excellent public transport facilities.

The meeting venue is located 15 kms from the airport. See Maps page.

There are regular Metro trains from the airport to the city centre. The closest Metro station to the meeting venue is Jor Bagh metro station.

Take the Orange Line from IGI Airport towards New Delhi metro station and then change to the Yellow Line towards Huda City Centre at New Delhi metro station and get off at the Jor Bagh metro station. The distance from the Jor Bagh metro station to the India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, is 2 kms. Taxis and Auto Rikshaws are available at the metro station for the India Habitat Centre.

Prepaid Taxis are available outside the Airport. Approximate fare : approximately Rupees 500-600.

It is advisable for the attendees to convert their currency to Indian Rupees as other currency is not accepted at local areas.

Getting to the meeting venue by Train

The meeting venue is located 7 kms from the New Delhi Railway Station.

Taxis and Auto Rickshaws are available at the New Delhi railway station for India Habitat Centre.
